Responsibilities

- Develop interior design concepts, material palettes, mood boards, and presentations.

- Prepare drawings, details, schedules, and documentation (layouts, joinery, FF&E, finishes).

- Manage full project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

- Attend and manage site visits; coordinate closely with contractors and suppliers.

- Lead client interactions with clarity, confidence, and professionalism.

- Oversee contractor management ensuring design intent and quality standards are met.

- Chair project meetings, issue minutes, and track action items.

- Coordinate with consultants, authorities, and internal design/fit-out teams.

- Source materials and support design presentations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month

  • Concept Development & Client Presentation: "Walk us through your process for developing an initial interior design concept for a new client. How do you translate their vision into a cohesive material palette and mood board, and what strategies do you use to ensure your presentation secures their confidence and approval?
  • Technical Documentation & Detailing: "Can you describe a project where your detailed documentation (e.g., joinery details, FF&E schedules, or finish specifications) was critical to its success? How did these documents prevent errors on site and ensure the contractor accurately executed the design intent?

Provide an example of a problem you identified on site and explain how you coordinated with the contractor to resolve it while maintaining the project's standards
  • Client & Stakeholder Coordination: "This role involves leading client interactions and coordinating with various stakeholders (consultants, authorities, internal teams). Can you give an example of a time you had to manage conflicting feedback or requirements from a client and a contractor or consultant? How did you facilitate a solution that respected the design integrity and kept the project moving forward?
