Interior Drafter

Job Description:

As an Interior Drafter, you will collaborate closely with our design team to produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of interior design projects, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents.
• Calculate dimensions and material requirements.
• Create Technical drawing.
• Preparing and plot architectural and interior design drawings.
• Preparing specifications based on technical knowledge, given information and/or sketch drawings.
• Producing large scale documentation packages.
• Producing fully coordinated and accurate sets of drawings.
• Collaborate closely with interior designers to incorporate feedback and develop high-quality presentation materials for client meetings.
• Make timely revisions based on client input and maintain organized records of all project documentation.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and building codes.
• Conduct quality checks to guarantee accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Bridge the gap between creativity and execution, ensuring designs are both beautiful and functional.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman in the interior design or architecture field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
• Proficiency in SketchUp & AutoCAD is essential; experience with other design software ( Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, 3DS Max) is a plus.
• Excellent mathematical ability and technical understanding
• Extensive knowledge of materials and technical specifications related to interior design.
• Strong understanding of design principles, spatial planning, and construction documentation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce precise and high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative mindset.
