Interior Draftsman - Work Together

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Interior Draftsman who will be responsible for preparing precise and detailed architectural drawings and plans for interior design projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of architectural and design principles, and can work collaboratively with design teams to bring concepts to life.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and layouts for interior design projects.
• Collaborate with architects and interior designers to create efficient design plans.
• Utilize CAD software to create digital models and drawings.
• Develop and refine drawings to meet client specifications and design guidelines.
• Conduct site visits to ensure accuracy of designs and make necessary adjustments.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Review and revise drawings in response to feedback from clients and design teams.
• Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to ensure implementation accuracy.
• Maintain an organized digital and hard copy filing system for all designs and plans.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in interior drafting or a related role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of architectural and design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Proven portfolio showcasing previous drafting work.
• Certification in drafting or related software is a plus.
• In-person availability for on-site work collaboration and site visits.
• Full-time availability with flexibility for project demands.
