Interior Fit Out Site Engineer

Job Purpose:

The Interior Fit-Out Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing site execution of joinery, interior works, and finishes in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines. This role ensures quality workmanship, safety compliance, and smooth coordination between subcontractors, consultants, and the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure accuracy and practicality on-site.
• Plan and schedule daily site activities, ensuring optimal manpower and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of works.
• Carry out site inspections and ensure work is executed as per approved quality and safety standards.
• Report daily progress, challenges, and site requirements to the Project Manager.
• Prepare site reports, method statements, risk assessments, and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety procedures on-site.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions to maintain workflow.
• Monitor and control wastage of materials and ensure proper site storage.
• Attend site meetings with consultants, clients, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in interior fit-out and joinery works (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of fit-out execution including joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, MEP coordination, and finishes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

• UAE Interior Fit-Out Civil Engineer: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Required)
