Interior project manager

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution of interior projects from work order to handover. This includes planning, scheduling, cost control, resource allocation, vendor coordination, quality assurance, and ensuring on-time delivery aligned with VC Interiors’ standards and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Take over projects after client approval & advance payment.
• Prepare detailed project schedules using Zoho Projects.
• Coordinate with design, factory, and site teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure accurate site measurements and cutlist submission to factory.
• Resource & Team Management
• Assign site supervisors, carpenters, and subcontractors as per schedule.
• Monitor manpower productivity and adherence to timelines.
• Conduct daily/weekly review meetings.
• Client & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the single point of contact for clients post-design phase.
• Provide regular project updates, handle concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and factory teams.
• Quality & Compliance
• Implement project SOPs, checklists, and safety standards.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and finishing.
• Conduct periodic site audits and resolve non-conformities.
• Financial & Cost Management
• Track project budgets, vendor bills, and material consumption.
• Control wastage and prevent cost overruns.
• Assist accounts team with project-related documentation.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain project records, schedules, and reports on Zoho.
• Provide weekly progress reports to management.
• Document learnings and best practices for future projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management.
• 4–8 years of experience in interior project execution.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and finishes.
• Proficiency in Zoho Projects, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
