The Division:
Valeyo provides a Loan Origination System that Canadian financial institutions have been using for over 20 years. Valeyo supports complex lending scenarios that allows users to adjudicate and approve loans

The Position:
We are seeking skilled VB.NET Developers with some SQL experience, familiarity with C# Entity Framework, and front-end development is a plus. This role will be based offshore, requiring effective communication skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a global development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• 2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining robust VB.NET applications using SQL Server databases.
• Design and implement scalable solutions using Entity Framework for data access.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly front-end interfaces.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Some experience as a VB.NET Developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proficiency in SQL Server.
• Some experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM frameworks.
• Experience in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Some Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
