An HR internship involves supporting the Human Resources department with administrative and recruitment tasks, such as updating employee records, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with payroll and onboarding. Interns may also help organize company events, conduct HR-related research, and manage HR documents, providing them with hands-on experience in various HR functions.

Core responsibilities

  • Recruitment and onboarding:
  • Post job advertisements on job boards and social media.
  • Screen resumes and applications.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, including paperwork and orientation.
  • Administrative support:
  • Update and maintain employee records and databases.
  • Collect and organize payroll information.
  • File HR documents and manage data.
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries about policies and benefits.
  • Data and project management:
  • Assist with creating HR reports.
  • Help with special HR projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices.
  • Employee engagement and relations:
  • Assist with planning and organizing company events.
  • Help with employee engagement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a degree program related to Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Types: Fresher, Internship, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹6,000.00 per month
