Intern, Procurement Operations

Job Purpose

This position will support our GBS Procurement team as a Summer Intern from June 2026 – August 2026 and will be based in Nashville, TN. This is a paid, full-time internship and will support a continuous improvement project at the end of the session.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

• Learn and assist with purchase order management, including attending vendor calls.
• Gain insight into the purchase requisition review and approval process.
• Help with invoice reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with entering agreements in Ariba.
• Support Ariba supplier enablement activities and troubleshoot supplier onboarding issues.
• Assist in vendor setup and maintenance, including collecting required documentation.
• Attend CAPEX project meetings, including weekly project updates and accrual reviews.
• Support the team in creating and managing sourcing events.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address two real-world challenges facing LP.
• Participate in peer mentoring assignments and team-building events.
• Engage with Executives, VPs, Directors, and Managers.
• Deliver a final presentation to key LP leaders and management at the end of the internship program.

What do I need to be successful?

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Time management skills

Education

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, or Data Analytics
• Must have an expected graduation date of August 2026 or later
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Work Environment

• This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule
