The Opportunity
Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.
The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months. LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units. Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship.

An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora’s career growth opportunities.

POSITION TITLE: Intern, Retail Communications
YOUR ROLE AT SEPHORA...
As the Intern, Retail Communications, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and delivering impactful communications. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to gather insights, provide expert advice, and craft strategic communication plans that ensure the successful adoption and execution of key initiatives. Your efforts will be instrumental in shaping the future of our retail operations and enhancing overall business performance.
What You Will Accomplish

Create and execute a comprehensive and compelling communication strategy for stores and retail leadership, addressing all facets of the business to drive clarity and alignment

Ensure related documentation/policies that support communication is accurate, streamlined and meets all communication standards.

Adhere to store communication standards and templates, and provide expertise on content formatting to ensure messaging is clear, concise and consistently reflects a store-centered voice

Proactively engage with business partners to ensure retail stores and leadership consistently receive complete and accurate information as part of our comprehensive communication strategies

Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, driving excellence across all areas of communications responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
-
Retail communications or communications in a professional environment (preferred)
-
Retail experience preferred, but not required
-
Exceptional writing communication skills (with strong grammar and spelling skills) ensuring clear and effective messaging

Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with an emphasis on Microsoft Word templates, styles and formatting. Experience with Retail Zipline is a plus

Highly collaborative with excellent listening and negotiating skills, driven by a strong desire to understand and meet business partner needs

Quick learner with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to taking initiative

Graduating in 2026 or 2027 (undergraduate or graduate degree)

Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.

Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions *

The target hourly pay for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
