Software Engineer Intern Position – Summer 2026

We’re looking or a highly motivated and self-starting Software Engineer Intern to join the Nintendo Technology Development’s (NTD) Multimedia team for the Summer of 2026.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with passion for excellence and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, engineering-focused environment. You will be instrumental in delivering high quality features and bug fixes by:

• Applying strong problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other engineers.
• Research and prototype new technologies to enhance multimedia features.
• Develop software to support multimedia use cases.

What we’re looking for…

The ideal candidate is:

• Rising junior, senior, or post-graduate pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering-related field.
• Interest in Multimedia Technologies and Computer Vision.
• Experience in C++, Python, and foundational knowledge in artificial intelligence.
• Available for full-time work during the summer of 2026.
• Good written and communication skills.
