Intern Software Tester

As a Software Tester Intern, you will work closely with our development and quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and functionality of our software products. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing: Execute test cases and conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing, to identify bugs and ensure software quality.
• Bug Reporting: Accurately document and report software defects using our bug-tracking system, providing clear and detailed steps to reproduce issues.
• Collaboration: Work with software developers to understand product features and troubleshoot reported bugs.
• Test Case Development: Assist in creating and updating test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and organized records of testing activities and results.
• Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on the user experience and product usability.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is a plus.
• A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
