Intern SQA Engineer

Progatix seeking a highly motivated SQA Engineer with at least 6 months of practical experience in software quality assurance, either as an Intern or Associate SQA. This role is fully onsite, requiring daily presence at our office. You will support the QA team in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through test case execution, defect identification, and close collaboration with the development and product teams.

• Execute manual test cases to verify software functionality, usability, and performance.
• Prepare and maintain test cases, test plans, and test documentation.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Review requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams for issue resolution.
• Participate in sprint activities and support continuous QA improvements.
• Assist with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) as needed.
• Learn and apply basic automation concepts (if applicable).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as an SQA Intern or Associate SQA Engineer.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and core software testing principles.
• Experience with test case writing and executing test scenarios.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation (preferred).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite at the office.
