Pretzel Logic Productions is seeking a Video Editing Intern who is eager to learn the craft of commercial storytelling and post-production within a fast-paced, professional studio environment. This internship is designed to provide emerging editors with hands-on exposure to professional editing workflows, creative collaboration, and the production process used to develop high-quality commercial content. This internship is an educational opportunity focused on mentorship, learning, and skill development. The intern will work alongside experienced editors and creative professionals to observe, practice, and build foundational post-production skills within a professional studio setting.

This is a fully in-house internship based in San Diego. No remote work.

Internship Learning Experience

During this internship, you will gain exposure to the professional post-production process and develop practical editing skills while learning from experienced editors and creative leadership.

You may have the opportunity to:

  • Observe professional editing sessions and creative reviews
  • Learn professional post-production workflows used in commercial production
  • Assist with organizing footage, assets, and project files
  • Practice editing techniques through guided exercises and training projects
  • Receive mentorship and feedback from experienced editors and producers
  • Learn how pacing, music, sound design, and storytelling shape compelling content
  • Participate in team discussions about creative direction and production strategy
  • Gain exposure to how commercial content is developed from concept through final delivery

All editing activities are supervised and designed as learning experiences intended to build technical and creative skills.

This is an  unpaid educational internship  opportunity intended to provide training and professional development.
