Internal AI Solutions Engineer

Summary

We’re looking for an AI Solutions Engineer to be the connective tissue between our internal teams and our AI capabilities.

Every department at PLACE — Finance, Success, Marketing, Operations, HR — has problems that AI can solve. But right now, no one is dedicated to finding those problems, designing the solutions, and making sure they actually get built and adopted.

That’s you.

You’ll spend your time embedded across our departments, discovering where AI can save time or unlock new capabilities, then working side-by-side with our AI engineering team to ship those solutions. You’re not just gathering requirements — you’re a builder who can get things moving and drive projects from idea to live tool.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role. You’ll work directly with department leads, AI engineers, and senior leadership. If you love translating messy real-world problems into elegant AI solutions — and you want to see your work actually used by hundreds of people — this is the role.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with various departments such as sales, operations, marketing, and finance to address AI-related initiatives and challenges.
• Collect detailed requirements, thoroughly analyze existing workflows and processes, and pinpoint opportunities where AI can deliver immediate value.
• Partner with the core AI team to rapidly design and implement solutions—including prototypes, internal applications, or complete products—within days or weeks rather than months.
• Develop hands-on by coding in Replit for quick MVPs, utilizing VS Code or Cloud Code for more comprehensive development, and employing tools like Python, LLMs, agents, and automation as needed.
• Apply AI to resolve internal issues by automating processes, creating tailored tools, or developing production-level features.
• Maintain clear documentation, monitor project progress meticulously, and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficient in writing clean, functional code with a passion for rapid prototyping.
• Proven background in developing AI/ML applications, including large language models, agents, and automation systems.
• Skilled in conducting stakeholder interviews, analyzing workflows, and translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Exceptionally organized and adaptable, capable of managing diverse demands from multiple teams simultaneously.
• Comfortable using development tools such as Replit, VS Code, Cloud Code, or comparable IDEs and cloud platforms.
• Advantageous: Experience working in cross-functional roles or providing internal consulting services.

This individual is key to swiftly and effectively integrating AI solutions into the business.
