Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct audits across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, production, sales, and finance functions.
- Review and evaluate internal control systems, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
- Monitor compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess cost-control measures, production efficiencies, and inventory management practices.
- Conduct investigations of irregularities, fraud, or process breaches.
- Prepare and present clear, concise audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Work closely with management to ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
- Provide advisory support on risk management, process optimization, and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop the internal audit team to enhance organizational capability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certification: CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CA (mandatory).
- 8–12 years of progressive internal audit experience, with at least 4–5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit standards, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on exposure to ERP systems - Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
