PRODUCTION MANAGER - ALUMINIUM & GLASS

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end production process: from raw material (aluminium sections, glass panels) through fabrication, quality control, assembly, finishing, and dispatch/installation.
• Plan and manage daily, weekly, monthly production schedules in line with project delivery timelines, manufacturing capacity, and client requirements.
• Supervise production teams (fabricators, machine operators, QC inspectors, supervisors) and coordinate with other departments (design, procurement, installation).
• Interpret technical drawings/BOQs/specifications (aluminium systems, glass units, curtain walls, windows/doors, partitions) and ensure production meets those specs.
• Ensure machinery and equipment uptime, maintenance scheduling, and efficient machine utilisation.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and control processes, including inspections at key production points.
• Ensure health & safety compliance in the manufacturing environment (workshop, fabrication, handling glass & aluminium).
• Track production metrics (efficiency, wastage, cost control, lead times) and report to senior management.
• Coordinate with procurement/supply chain to ensure materials (glass, aluminium extrusions, hardware) meet project schedules and inventory levels are optimised.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Technical knowledge of aluminium fabrication (extrusions, frames, curtain wall systems) and glass fabrication/processing.
• Experience in the aluminium & glass industry (fabrication / manufacturing / installation) in the UAE or GCC region.
