Khas Textile Mill, a leading name in the spinning industry, is seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. In this role, you'll be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, with a focus on payroll, financial activities, stock counts, and cheque verifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of payroll processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Perform thorough reviews of financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting, identifying any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Lead and supervise stock counts and inventory reconciliations, verifying the accuracy of physical inventory against system records and investigating any variances.
• Execute cheque verifications, ensuring proper authorization, documentation, and adherence to company policies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend enhancements to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their processes and provide guidance on best practices.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Internal Auditor, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with spinning mills is a significant plus.
• Strong understanding of auditing principles, internal control frameworks, and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in conducting payroll audits, financial transaction reviews, inventory audits, and cheque verifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
