ob description:Khas Textile Mill, a leading name in the spinning industry, is seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. In this role, you'll be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, with a focus on payroll, financial activities, stock counts, and cheque verifications.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive audits of payroll processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.</li><li>Perform thorough reviews of financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting, identifying any discrepancies or areas for improvement.</li><li>Lead and supervise stock counts and inventory reconciliations, verifying the accuracy of physical inventory against system records and investigating any variances.</li><li>Execute cheque verifications, ensuring proper authorization, documentation, and adherence to company policies.</li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend enhancements to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.</li><li>Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans.</li><li>Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective resolution.</li><li>Collaborate with various departments to understand their processes and provide guidance on best practices.</li><li>Stay updated on industry best practices, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience as an Internal Auditor, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with spinning mills is a significant plus.</li><li>Strong understanding of auditing principles, internal control frameworks, and accounting standards.</li><li>Proficiency in conducting payroll audits, financial transaction reviews, inventory audits, and cheque verifications.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.</li></ul>If you're a meticulous and proactive auditor looking to make a significant impact at a well-established textile mill, we encourage you to apply!Please apply direct as well careers@khasindustries.comJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
