Accountant

Karachi, Pakistan

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to support the company’s financial health and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Accounts & Compliance:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

Operational Support:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, operations, sales) to provide financial insights.
  • Monitor cash flows and prepare variance analyses against budgets.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements in financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA or ACCA Finalist.
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in a corporate or BPO environment).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Other Details:

  • Working hours: 9 am to 5 pm (Pakistan Standard Time), Sunday to Friday.
  • Employees will be required to attend the office physically from Monday to Friday, while Sunday will be a designated work-from-home day. In addition, one extra hybrid day per week may be availed, subject to prior alignment with the direct manager.
  • Reports directly to the Finance Manager.
