Internal Control Manager

Chery is a leading Chinese auto company. Its business scope covers the R&D, production, and sales of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, mini cars, special vehicles, powertrain systems, and other products. It has sold more than 8.75 million vehicles, providing products and services for users in more than 80 countries and regions around the world every day.


As Chery Automotive, our goal is to organize training on all necessary topics to enhance the technical and business skills of sales and service teams at dealers. This includes preparing training content and materials and contributing to the execution of the training operations.


Responsibilities

  • Identify operational, financial, and administrative risks and establish, implement, and monitor internal control mechanisms to mitigate them.
  • Adapt and implement the Chery Global internal control framework within the Turkish organization.
  • Review existing processes regularly in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance, and develop improvement recommendations.
  • Define and monitor control points across departments,
  • Prepare necessary documentation and evidence for internal audit, external audit, and HQ reporting purposes.
  • Ensure all implemented controls are in compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with department managers to follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Promote awareness and a culture of control within the company through training and communication activities.
  • Propose process automation or digital control solutions to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields,
  • Preferably holds CPA (SMMM), CIA, or CISA certification,
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in internal control, internal audit, or finance, preferably in the automotive industry or multinational environments,
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, process analysis, risk management, and compliance controls,
  • Proficient in MS Office and Knowledge of SAP will be considered an advantage,
  • Excellent analytical thinking, reporting, and communication skills,
  • Fluent in English (Chinese proficiency is an asset),
  • Dynamic, solution-oriented, and a strong team play
