Internal Medicine Physician – Telehealth (Part-Time, Remote) – Atlanta, GA


BeeperMD is currently seeking a qualified Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our team providing Primary & Urgent Care services via Telehealth for patients located in Georgia. This is a fully remote, part-time position, with the option to start as little as one day per week, with potential to increase hours based on availability and company needs. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.


Position Overview

The physician will be responsible for providing virtual patient care and serving as a Supervising Physician for Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs) as required. This role is ideal for a provider who is comfortable working in a telehealth environment and collaborating with a remote clinical team.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide telehealth visits for Primary and Urgent Care patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
  • Perform comprehensive wellness evaluations via telehealth
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention and health management
  • Review charts and provide supervision for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with Georgia regulations
  • Be available for supervising physician responsibilities as required
  • Document all encounters using EMR
  • Collaborate with telehealth providers, NPs, PAs, and administrative staff
  • Participate in follow-up care and ongoing patient management


Licenses / Certifications (Required):

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active Georgia Medical License (required)
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • DEA License
  • Eligible for Medicare / Medicaid enrollment
  • Active CAQH profile
  • Completion of Internal Medicine residency
  • Ability to meet supervising physician requirements under Georgia law


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Telemedicine experience preferred but not required
  • Experience supervising NPs / PAs is a plus
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, Google Workspace, and Zoom

  • Willingness to support and mentor other providers


Job Type:

Part-time (Remote / Telehealth)

Flexible schedule – may start with 1 day per week
