International Markets Account Manager

Abdi İbrahim, Turkish pharmaceutical industry leader, was founded in 1912 in Istanbul by Pharmacist Abdi Nadir İbrahim Bey. From a small pharmacy, we have grown into a global healthcare company with over 500 products, nearly 250 brands, and collaborations with 30 licensors developed in partnership with 30 licensors , Abdi İbrahim has been the market leader of the Turkish pharmaceutical industry since 2002.


Today, Abdi İbrahim carries out its operations with its own teams in 17 countries outside Turkey and exports to more than 70 countries worldwide – from Canada to the European Union, from North Africa to Asia.


With the first accredited R&D Center in the Turkish pharmaceutical sector , our facilities represent the highest technological standards. In Istanbul, our Esenyurt complex hosts a state-of-the-art R&D Center, chemical product plant, AbdiBio – Turkey’s largest biotechnology production facility, a hormone and ophthalmology production area, and a sterile injectable & oncology production facility. Beyond Turkey, we also operate R&D centers and manufacturing plants in Kazakhstan and Algeria .

Now, we are seeking a dedicated International Markets Account Manager .


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields,
  • Minimum 4 years of Account Manager experience in International Markets / Export business in the pharmaceutical sector,
  • Fluency in English required, a second foregin language (i.e. Russian) is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications,
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and global market dynamics,
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally,
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and forward-looking.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinating technical and commercial correspondence with distributors, partners, and licensees for assigned export countries,
  • Preparing and realizing short- and long-term sales, expense, and profitability budgets for assigned accounts,
  • Conducting commercial, financial, and technical feasibility analyses for new products and projects,
  • Managing supply coordination processes to ensure timely product delivery to international customers,
  • Organizing regular partner, distributor, licensee, and customer visits to gather market and customer insights,
  • Monitoring global and local pharmaceutical trends, developments, and regulations to identify opportunities and risks,
  • Assessing potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials,
  • Coordinating internal stakeholders to support account performance and project execution,
  • Following up third-party distributors’ sales-out performance.
