GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Graduated from university departments such as Foreign Trade, International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or related fields,
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement and foreign trade,
  • Advanced level of English (both written and spoken); a second foreign language is a plus,
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange transactions, currency payment systems, and foreign trade finance,
  • Experienced in import, customs clearance, freight, Incoterms, document procedures, and logistics,
  • Proficient in using at least one ERP system,
  • Skilled in MS Office programs, especially Excel for reporting,
  • Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and result-oriented working style,
  • Good time management, team-oriented, responsible, and detail-focused,
  • Open to international travel,
  • If you can reside in Kütahya or Eskişehir,

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conduct research on international suppliers and establish alternative and cost-effective procurement channels,
  • Communicate effectively with international suppliers, gather quotations, perform comparative analyses, and manage contract processes,
  • Coordinate all stages from ordering to production, shipment, and delivery,
  • Handle import documentation, plan payments (letter of credit, documentary collections, wire transfer, etc.), and manage foreign exchange processes,
  • Plan import operations in compliance with customs regulations and coordinate with customs brokers,
  • Manage logistics processes: transport planning, deciding on modes of transport (land, sea, air), and freight agreements,
  • Travel abroad for trade fairs, supplier audits, or market research,
  • Collaborate with internal departments (finance, production, quality, legal),
  • Follow global trade trends and cost analyses to provide strategic recommendations to management.
