International Recruiter — US Market

Role Summary

We are seeking a results-driven International Recruiter with a proven track record in the US staffing industry. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle — from strategic sourcing and candidate screening to offer negotiation and onboarding — specifically for the US labor market.

The ideal candidate understands the nuances of US employment regulations, various visa classifications, and tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099). You will build robust talent pipelines, reduce time-to-fill, and ensure we attract and retain the best professionals in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Source, screen, interview, and place candidates for technical and non-technical roles within the US market across IT, Healthcare, and General staffing verticals.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Leverage multiple platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, Monster, social media groups, and niche job boards to identify and engage top-tier talent.
  • Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and nurture a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and forecasted roles, ensuring a steady flow of talent.
  • Screening & Assessment: Conduct thorough initial screenings and in-depth interviews combining structured behavioral questions, technical assessments, and cultural fit evaluations.
  • Client & Candidate Negotiation: Manage salary expectations, negotiate competitive offers, and finalize terms and conditions including rate negotiations and location preferences.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain deep understanding of US time zones, geography, industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor landscape.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to US work authorizations (H1B, Green Card, EAD, OPT, etc.) and tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099).
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the internal ATS, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation of all interactions.
  • Relationship Building: Network online and offline with potential candidates and industry professionals to promote the GrowEdgeX brand and expand referral channels.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs including submittals, interviews, and placements while maintaining high-quality standards.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated experience recruiting for the US Market (IT, Healthcare, or General staffing).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; neutral or US-accented English is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced Boolean search techniques across multiple platforms.
  • US Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of US visa types, work authorizations, tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099), and employment compliance requirements.
  • Interview Expertise: Demonstrated experience conducting interviews via phone, video conferencing (Zoom, Skype), and VOIP platforms.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work the night shift (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM) to align with US business hours, with reliability and consistency.
  • Mindset: A positive 'can-do' attitude, resilience under pressure, and strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Networking: Proven ability to build relationships and source passive candidates through social media, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Advantage: Global recruiting experience, previous HR or management experience in Healthcare or IT sectors, and familiarity with CRM tools.
