Job Title: Business to Business Sales Business Development Manager ( IT Hardware )

Department: Business to Business & Public Sector

Location: Federal B Area, Karachi

Requirement to travel: No

Overnight stays: As per business needs

Remuneration / benefits: Base salary – competitive (dependant on experience) + Competitive OTE (dependent on target) + 28 days holiday rising with service (including bank holidays), Contributory pension scheme, all business expenses paid. Perks at Work.

Role Overview

  • The primary focus of the role is to generate new business through sourcing and developing new client relationships and where applicable drive growth of business within existing / key accounts.
  • To act as “the voice and face” of Knizaam within the sectors targeted by Knizaam.
  • To promote Knizaam’s products and services, establishing and developing business relationships with individuals and organisations
  • To identify and manage new business prospects and opportunities through effective Sales cycle management from customer identification, engagement and conversation.
  • To assist the Business to Business & Public Sector Sales Manager and drive the growth of new business in line with Knizaam’s business strategy, targets and objectives.
  • Create and continuously develop fit for purpose breadth and depth account plans and present the execution of these to Sales management on a regular basis.
  • Is accountable for and takes full ownership of assigned account base / sales pipeline - treats as their own business.

Person specification

  • Minimum of 2 years New Business Sales experience preferably within the I.T. sector.
  • Sound understanding of I.T. hardware, software (networking and infrastructure would be beneficial) and services.
  • Experienced in buying and selling new/used IT/storage/networking equipment across the UK and European markets.
  • Experienced in Promoting inventory lists to new potential customers through various channels.
  • Able to Maximize profits by negotiating on pricing with buyers and sellers.
  • Able to demonstrate key requirements of a new business hunter / Account Manager.
  • Demonstrable track record of securing new business and driving growth.
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive disposition
  • Are friendly, personable and passionate about what they do.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity and enthusiasm,
  • Are driven to provide a first-class customer experience.
  • Have a pro-active approach to problem-solving and innovation.
  • Always thinking outside of the box for new ways to work to improve new business penetration and to develop the Knizaam sales proposition.

Main activities / Regular tasks:

  • To ensure activity KPI’s are met through effective time management and self-awareness and motivation.
  • To ensure achievement of all agreed monthly Sales targets and establish Knizaam as the primary supplier of target products to new and existing accounts.
  • To maintain personal activity levels, set standards (to be agreed) to ensure Sales performance targets are met as a whole.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new customers via telephone calls, emails and where required client meetings via video.
  • Reviewing their own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements in order to formulate plans to drive growth.
  • Maintain awareness and acute understanding of the marketplace.
  • Ongoing relationship building with key prospects and influencers within the industry.
  • To identify objections throughout the sales process and evidence plans to remove objections in order to convert prospects.
  • To identify the needs of prospects through use of active listening and effective questioning
  • Achieve all KPI’s, targets and objectives as set by the Business to Business & Public Sector Sales Manager
  • Ensure a healthy pipeline of opportunities to meet short- and medium-term business plans and targets.
  • Build proposals and quotes, based upon the client’s needs & requirements.
  • Increase product knowledge through personal research and ongoing internal training.

Additional activities:

  • To identify and continue with own personal development and to communicate to Sales management any support required to achieve development opportunities.
  • Attendance at meetings as requested by Management.
  • Any other duties that are deemed necessary to support the business.
  • Any other duties as determined by the Business to Business & Public Sector Sales Manager
