Full-Time | Onsite Required

Salary: $50,000-55,000 Annually

We are a multi-retail operator and vertically integrated cannabis company with multiple cultivation and manufacturing facilities, alongside a growing portfolio of cannabis brands. As we continue to scale operations and expand our footprint, we are seeking an Inventory & Procurement Specialist to oversee product flow, purchasing, and inventory accuracy across our organization.

This is a critical role for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and product availability across cultivation, manufacturing, and retail.

Position Overview

As the Inventory & Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, purchasing materials and products, and ensuring seamless coordination between vendors, operations, and retail locations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing purchasing strategies, and supporting the overall supply chain.

This role requires a strong balance of organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure the right products are available at the right timewithout overstocking or shortages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels across cultivation, manufacturing, and retail locations.
  • Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor product movement, identify discrepancies, and resolve inventory issues promptly.
  • Track product lifecycle from intake through distribution and sale.
  • Ensure compliance with all state cannabis tracking systems (e.g., METRC).
  • Procurement & Purchasing
  • Manage purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Operations & Supply Chain Coordination
  • Collaborate with cultivation, manufacturing, and retail teams to forecast inventory needs.
  • Ensure alignment between production schedules and purchasing timelines.
  • Coordinate product transfers between facilities and retail locations.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring materials and inventory are available on time.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure all inventory and procurement processes comply with state and local cannabis regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, purchasing trends, and cost analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain (cannabis experience preferred).
  • Experience with inventory tracking systems (METRC experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and purchasing processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills.
