Inventory Control Manager

Job Summary
Crème Fulfillment is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to oversee and maintain the accuracy, organization, and integrity of inventory within our warehouse operations.
This role is critical to ensuring alignment between inbound shipments, system records, and physical stock while driving process improvements and supporting efficient fulfillment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in managing inventory systems within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain and oversee accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation
- Monitor and approve inventory adjustments with proper documentation
- Oversee SKU setup, barcode accuracy, and product data integrity
Receiving Oversight
- Supervise inbound inventory processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Verify SKU counts, case packs, and labeling standards
- Identify and document damaged or missing inventory
- Coordinate communication of discrepancies with internal teams
Cycle Counts & Audits
- Manage and execute cycle counting programs across all warehouse zones
- Conduct and oversee full inventory audits as needed
- Track inventory variances and identify root causes
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues
Warehouse Organization
- Maintain structured inventory storage and bin systems
- Ensure all SKUs are properly labeled and located
- Optimize inventory placement to improve picking efficiency
- Train staff on proper inventory handling procedures
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and support inventory control and warehouse team members
- Partner with Warehouse and Operations leadership to ensure workflow efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure inventory visibility and accuracy
- Support inventory verification for large or priority orders
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements in inventory processes and workflows
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support system enhancements and operational efficiencies
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain
- Experience working with a warehouse management system (WMS)
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- E-commerce or retail distribution experience is a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
