Inventory Supervisor
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday
Compensation: $55,000 + bonus potential
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the planning, coordination, and managing of all activities related to the physical inventory requirements in the Distribution Center (DC). This includes inventory management, supplier integration, relationship management with internal and external stakeholders, and team leadership. This position interfaces with various departments within the DC Leadership and requires the leader to utilize a diverse range of skills and experiences in the overall support of company operations as well as a high degree of interdependence in the execution of these responsibilities. The Inventory Supervisor works closely with the regional warehouse leadership team to establish and continually improve the organization's performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective supply chain management methods and strategies. Furthermore, this role will be uniquely challenged with their participation in the building of a robust supply and inventory management organization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities:
- Operational Planning:
- Align weekly goals with SOM and set weekly plan for the site
- Communicate plans to GMs and ensure all necessary follow-up communications are made.
- Review and evaluate KPIs and create action plans to ensure goals are being met.
- Resource / Facility Planning
- Ensure operational labor in pipeline and on hand to match forecast model
- Communicate weekly staffing plan
- Ensure adequate equipment is on site and follow established repairs schedule
- Consolidate building repair and tracks property/product damage against KPIs
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow up on AIB action items
- Follow up campus safety compliance by conducting observations, sweeps, and safety meetings.
- Review safety trends and champions safety committee
- Conducts quarterly site audit & follows up with action plans
- Orientation & Training
- Attends and greets all orientation classes
- 30/60/90 day follow up with all new hires
- Evaluates training methods
- MISC
- Manage financial metrics for operation including approving invoices, coordination of billing, and review of weekly P&L statements

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP/WMS systems).
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Strong Microsoft Excel/ Outlook skills highly preferred

Strong communication and customer service skills preferred

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Experience working with WMS system is a plus

PIT equipment experience preferred

Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, and operations teams.

Experience with RFID, barcode scanning, or automated inventory tracking systems is an advantage.
Physical requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing

Ability to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors, changing temperatures)

Must be comfortable working at heights of 20’ feet

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
