JOB STATEMENT: The Inventory Coordinator I is responsible for day-to-day operations in the Shipping/Inventory Control responsible areas of the warehouse. Their primary duties are to perform physical audits (cycle counts) on the company’s inventory throughout their day; ensuring inventory levels displayed within the ERP system are both accurate and up to date. Additionally, the Inventory Coordinator I is primarily responsible for verifying and filing all inventory related transactions and documents that the Ceres facility may generate throughout all shifts.
Essential Duties:

Understand and comply with all ISO 9001, HACCP and GMP requirements and processes

Perform daily audits/cycle counts on physical inventory

Provide a high caliber of service and support to warehouse employees and other areas of the organization throughout the entirety of their shift.

Verify all receiving documents are completed correctly, and verify system data coincides with physical documents.

Verifies within ERP system (IFS) that Customer Orders and Shipments are picked and/or delivered accurately and in a timely manner

Occasionally produce simple queries for reports in a reasonable amount of time

Operate and maintain multiple applications, sites, and companies in order to track inventory, and report company financials correctly.

Occasionally assist in the development, standardization (SOP writing), and enforcement of inventory best practices and policies

Providing rapid assistance to troubleshoot and resolve inventory issues conveyed to them by management, customers, or warehouse staff throughout their day

Enforces first in/first out rules (FIFO) when concerning movement of inventory from within the warehouse.

Monitor and navigate tasks within the help desk software throughout the entirety of their shift

Work within multiple applications, and sites in order to track inventory

Sort, copy, email, mail, and file documents as needed

Communicate across multiple departments via phone, 2-way radio, or other means if needed

Support railcar shipment operations by assuring the proper inventory and paperwork accompanies each load.

May occasionally assist in the training of new staff members on their areas of responsibilities

Must be able to work any and all shifts as required with realistic notice given from management

Must be able to work Saturdays, as required to perform inventories and/or provide support for Distribution Staff

Must be able and willing to work overtime as the job demands
Education/Experience:
-
Previous experience with inventory control
-
Previous wine industry or production experience
