Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to manage inventory planning, demand forecasting, and cost optimization across the supply chain. The role focuses on improving material availability, reducing costs, and supporting data-driven decision-making through effective inventory control, forecasting, and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal material availability
- Improve inventory performance while minimizing holding, shortage, and obsolescence costs
- Track inventory movement, lead times, and supplier performance
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Manage customer demand planning and align supply with forecasted demand
- Analyze historical data and market trends to model future demand
- Continuously refine forecasts and adjust procurement and replenishment plans accordingly
Inventory Optimization
- Calculate optimal inventory levels using statistical and analytical methods
- Balance service levels with cost efficiency across multiple SKUs and locations
- Support safety stock and reorder point calculations
Cost Accounting & Control
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain costs from procurement to delivery
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, waste minimization, and process improvement
- Support budgeting, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform data analysis for pattern recognition, risk assessment, and sustainability insights
- Collect, clean, and interpret large data sets to support strategic decisions
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and actionable insights for stakeholders
Systems & Tools
- Maintain and utilize MRP (Material Resource Planning) systems effectively
- Use advanced Excel for data modeling, analysis, and reporting
- Integrate Excel data with other software and systems for enhanced analytics
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and demand planning principles
- Expertise in forecasting techniques and inventory optimization methods
- Solid understanding of cost accounting and supply chain finance
- High proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data linking)
- Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply chain analytics preferred
- Certification in supply chain or planning (CPIM, APICS, etc.) is an added advantage

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
