Duties

• Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, organizing backstock, and conducting regular stock counts to ensure product availability.
• Support the online sales platform by updating product listings, managing product images, and ensuring accurate descriptions.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and recommend items based on their needs.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Conduct merchandising tasks such as arranging displays, setting up promotional signage, and maintaining a visually appealing sales floor.
• Perform stock replenishment during busy periods and assist with inventory audits to minimize shrinkage.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining friendly phone etiquette and addressing customer questions promptly.

Skills

• Experience with POS systems and cash register operations.
• Supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store settings is a plus.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for serving diverse customers.
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product presentation strategies.
• Skilled in stocking shelves, organizing backstock, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Customer service-oriented with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette.
• Capable of upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
