Inventory Executive

Job Summary

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining accurate stock levels across all departments in the hypermarket. The role ensures proper inventory records, timely stock replenishment, coordination with purchasing and warehouse teams, and minimizing stock loss through effective control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and recording materials.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and verify against system records.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure real-time data updates in the ERP/system.
• Monitor slow-moving, fast-moving, near-expiry, and out-of-stock products and report to management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth stock flow.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.
• Implement loss-prevention measures to reduce stock discrepancies and wastage.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safe handling of all products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inventory and warehouse areas.
• Supervise and guide stock controllers, storekeepers, and receiving staff.
• Conduct periodic audits and assist in yearly/quarterly stock counts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Business Administration or related field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
