Inventory Lead

The AIR Group, a 25-year-old aviation enterprise with multiple divisions, is seeking an Inventory Lead to assist our team in handling all department functions and supporting our customers.

Summary/Objective:

The Inventory Lead will manage and oversee the Inventory control team in accordance with best practices and company procedures. The Inventory Lead must be detail oriented to review parts coming in, parts for stock and parts going out to our customers. The Inventory Lead must be able to work in a fast paced environment while multi tasking daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Generates cycle count reports on a monthly basis and monitors the accuracy of the information.

* Provide support in the monitoring activities ensuring the proper inventory levels by generating and managing scrap reports.

* Ensure accuracy, completeness, and system functions on a daily basis.

* Communicate with other departments on issues.

* Scrap parts in Quantum per company procedures.

* Ensure that all expiration information is correct on the parts being put into stock.

* Comply with and ensure adherence to proper operational and safety procedures.

*Ensure warehouse area stays clean and organized.

* Other duties as assigned by manager / supervisor.

* Perform investigations to manage discrepancies in inventory levels using root cause analysis.

* Support internal and external audits.

* Strong knowledge of using a PC for data entry, running reports.

* Ability to locate and handle parts in a warehouse environment.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports.

* Ability to complete work in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

* Job related experience for 2 years minimum

* Forklift experience

* Management / Supervision experience.

Physical Demands:

*The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by and an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

* This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, overhead reaching, keyboarding, etc.. during the work day. The employee must frequently lift, carry, grasp, and / or move items averaging 30 to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Position Type/Hours of Work:

* This is a full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00 pm.

* While the regular working cycle of this position is usually 5days (Monday-Friday), this job may include some working weekends and holidays as needed.

* Candidate must be able to work overtime on a regular basis and /or be on call as directed by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
