We are sourcing on behalf of a leading grocery retail chain in Abu Dhabi known for its operational efficiency, product variety, and commitment to quality. The company is seeking an Inventory and Logistics Coordinator to support the timely and accurate flow of goods across multiple store locations and warehouses.

Role Overview

As the Inventory and Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring accuracy in inventory records. This role plays a critical part in supporting store operations and ensuring products are available when and where they’re needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and manage inventory levels across warehouses and store locations
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers for timely deliveries
• Oversee receiving processes and ensure proper documentation of goods
• Monitor and reconcile stock discrepancies and damaged goods
• Use inventory management systems to update stock movements and generate reports
• Collaborate with purchasing and store teams to forecast demand and reduce overstock or shortages
• Organize internal stock transfers and returns
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards in warehousing and transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred
• 2–4 years of experience in inventory management or logistics, preferably in retail or FMCG
• Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organizational abilities
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset
• Familiarity with UAE logistics providers and regulatory processes is a plus
