Job Summary:

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing and controlling all inventory operations for wholesale and retail foodstuff. This includes managing stock levels, ensuring accurate records, implementing effective inventory control systems, reducing wastage, and ensuring timely availability of goods. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in foodstuff inventory handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily inventory operations for both wholesale and retail divisions.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure real-time updates in the system.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing team for replenishment.
  • Implement and maintain proper storage methods to ensure product quality and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, physical stock verification, and monthly stock reconciliation.
  • Track and control expired, damaged, or slow-moving items to minimize loss.
  • Coordinate with the sales and logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
  • Develop and enforce inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.
  • Train and supervise warehouse and inventory staff.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in the food stuff/ Retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and storage standards.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible to work extended hours during peak seasons.
  • Physically fit to oversee warehouse operations.
  • UAE driving license (preferred, not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Retail/ Wohlesale: 5 years (Preferred)
