THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven Inventory Planner to forecast demand, manage inventory, and optimise stock allocation across our retail stores and ecommerce channels. You will play a key role in ensuring the right product is available in the right place at the right time, balancing commercial opportunity with stock risk. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, has strong supply chain knowledge, and thrives in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.
Work Schedule/Location: This role is available to candidates who want to work full time in the London head office or fully remote with a contract for 40 working hours per week. Please note, we offer a UK visa sponsorship programme for candidates who work full time in the London office after a qualifying period of employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
So, what will I be doing every day?
Analyse sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to forecast future product needs.
Utilise forecasting software and inventory management systems to plan and maintain optimal inventory levels based on financial forecasts and trading performance.
Optimise stock allocation to retail stores, considering shop floor and stock room capacity by location.
Develop and maintain demand forecasts to ensure sufficient warehouse inventory for online customer orders.
Run weekly reorders and oversee daily stock transfer operations.
Create and manage manufacturing schedules to meet production and replenishment requirements.
Compile and present inventory performance reports and KPI analysis in weekly trade meetings.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to align demand with production planning.
Create and enrich new product SKUs with all required database fields.
Research and implement a standardised price architecture for all categories and subcategories across key markets (UK and USA), including adjustments and bi-annual sales updates.
Manage excess inventory through stock transfers and seasonal markdown strategies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
3–4 years’ experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or retail merchandising (fashion industry preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate into action.
Proficiency in INCREFF inventory management software and data analysis tools is required.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and forecasting techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
A proactive self-starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative environment.
