Position Overview

Bloodhound Investigations is seeking an experienced and highly organized Investigations Manager to oversee investigative operations and supervise investigative staff.

This leadership role is responsible for managing case workflow, supervising investigators and research personnel, ensuring investigative quality standards, and coordinating investigative assignments. The Investigations Manager will also contribute to the strategic growth of the firm as Bloodhound expands its services and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Investigative Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day investigative operations and case assignments.
  • Manage investigative workflow to ensure cases are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Review investigative reports, research findings, and documentation for quality and completeness.
  • Ensure investigative activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise investigators, research analysts, and administrative support staff.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to investigative personnel.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and assist with recruiting and onboarding new team members.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and investigative best practices.

Case Coordination

  • Coordinate investigative assignments and monitor case progress.
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for case management and operational issues.
  • Ensure investigative documentation and reporting standards are maintained.
  • Allocate resources to ensure timely delivery of investigative services.

Client & Legal Coordination

  • Communicate with attorneys, law firms, and corporate clients regarding investigation status.
  • Ensure deliverables meet professional standards and client expectations.
  • Assist in developing investigative strategies for complex cases.

Business Development & Strategic Growth

  • Support the expansion of the Bloodhound Investigations business unit through strategic growth initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand investigative services, geographic reach, and market presence.
  • Assist ownership in evaluating potential acquisitions of investigative firms or independent investigators to strengthen the organization’s capabilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, law firms, and corporate clients to support business development.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement strategies that grow revenue, improve operational efficiency, and expand the firm’s investigative footprint.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Maintain internal investigative procedures and operational standards.
  • Implement systems and tools that improve investigative efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, privacy laws, and investigative regulations.

Investigative Field Work

While this role is primarily responsible for managing investigative operations and supervising investigative staff, the Investigations Manager may also participate in investigative field work when necessary. This may include conducting interviews with witnesses, coordinating surveillance operations, performing field investigations, and assisting with complex or high-priority cases. The Investigations Manager is expected to maintain a working knowledge of field investigative practices and provide leadership and support to field investigators to ensure investigations are conducted safely, legally, and effectively.

Qualifications

Education (Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Texas DPS Private Security “Company Representative” license - Company Representative (Qualified Manager) License

Experience

  • 5+ years of investigative experience (private investigations, law enforcement, intelligence, or litigation support).
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working with attorneys or legal investigations is highly preferred.
