Investment Analyst

As an Investment Analyst at ZMI , you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and presenting strategic investment opportunities both organic and inorganic to the leadership team and relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in financial modelling, M&A transactions, and investment analysis. Detailed responsibilities are as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed investment presentations and robust financial models to support the evaluation of acquisition (M&A) and organic growth opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to prepare financial and non-financial analysis on business cases and strategic initiatives.
• Perform post-acquisition investment analysis on acquired companies and assets to monitor performance, assess value realization, and recommend optimization measures.
• Prepare and present investment proposals and business cases to senior leadership, investment committees, and other internal stakeholders for review and approval.

Qualifications & Experience:

• CFA Level 1 is mandatory. Additional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Equity Research, Investment Analysis, M&A, or Investment Banking, focusing on the Offshore Logistics or Oil & Gas Industry
• Proven expertise in financial modelling and investment analysis, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
• Proficient in the use of investment research tools such as Capital IQ, databases, and Excel-based modelling
• Advanced presentation and communication skills, with a strong command over investment storytelling
• Strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience in presenting to senior leadership
