Investment Associate

BroadLight Capital is a venture and growth equity firm investing across AI and internet. Our LP base and network – including leading artists, athletes, and entertainers – give us a unique distribution advantage that opens doors for founders. Our portfolio includes category-defining companies like ElevenLabs, Black Forest Labs, EvenUp, Function Health, Perplexity and Higgsfield.

As we continue to build our platform, we're looking for an Associate to join our investment team. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership over their work and is ready to operate with the autonomy and accountability of a more senior investor from day one.

What you'll do

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities across AI infrastructure, AI applications, and consumer internet
• Lead primary research and competitive analysis to support diligence on active deals
• Build financial models and prepare investment memos for partnership review
• Support portfolio companies with market intelligence, hiring, and strategic introductions
• Assist with fundraising process and investor communications for Fund II
• Represent BroadLight at industry events, conferences, and founder dinners

What we're looking for

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking or venture capital
• Strong analytical foundation with a track record of rigorous, independent thinking
• Genuine intellectual curiosity about AI and the consumer internet landscape
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex ideas clearly
• High agency and ownership mentality
• Existing network in tech, media, sports, or entertainment is a plus, not a requirement
