Investment Associate and Analyst

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Investment Analyst / Associate

Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Level: Associate / Analyst (1–5 years' experience)

Function: Investments, Advisory, Principal Transactions

Employment Type: Full-time

The Opportunity

A globally active investment platform is expanding its presence in the United Arab Emirates and is looking to hire multiple high-performing Investment Analysts and Associates in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The firm operates at the intersection of developed and emerging markets, advising on and investing in complex, cross-border transactions. With a lean team and institutional-level execution, it provides services spanning strategic advisory, capital solutions, and principal investments for a client base that includes sovereign investors, family offices, corporates, and financial sponsors.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside senior leadership on live deals, gain hands-on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, and play an active role in shaping the firm’s presence in the region.

Role Scope

As part of a tight-knit investment team, you will work across M&A advisory, capital raising, co-investments, and direct principal transactions. The role involves high-impact, cross-border work where critical thinking, creativity, and technical skill are valued as much as execution horsepower.

You’ll contribute meaningfully to both live deals and business development, gaining unmatched visibility and responsibility at an early stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed company, sector, and market analysis across a range of industries and geographies
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models (DCF, LBO, trading/transaction comps)
  • Prepare internal and client-facing investment materials, including memos and presentations
  • Support end-to-end deal execution: due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and documentation
  • Track regional market dynamics, capital flows, and investment trends across the Middle East and Africa
  • Participate in origination efforts, screening opportunities and supporting pitch development

Ideal Candidate

  • 1–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or strategic advisory
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; intellectually curious and commercially minded
  • Exposure to cross-border or emerging markets transactions is highly preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with high expectations and visibility
  • Fluent in English; Arabic, German, French, Mandarin, or other regional languages are a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field from a leading institution.
