Job Purpose:


The Investment Operation Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the investment operations team in middle/back-office activities and performing related tasks such as reconciliation, analysis, trade matching, and managing operational relationships with Investment Managers (IMs) and Custodians, overseeing Fund Accounting functions. The role of Investment Operation Senior Analyst requires performing detailed review of fund valuation accuracy and reconciliation of accounting data and preparing ad-hoc reports. The Investment Operation Senior Analyst will be responsible for tracking and monitoring the investment activities and delivering comprehensive Monthly and Quarterly reports.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Operations & Transaction Processing Conduct a detailed review of fund valuation accuracy (NAV calculation) and perform accounting reconciliations.
  • Investment Transaction Processing and Settlement
  • Perform daily/periodic reconciliation of cash, positions, and trades to resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Process, execute, and validate investment transactions, including trades, corporate actions, fund transfers, subscriptions, redemptions, deal placements, and deal maturities
  • Collaborates with financial investment and real estate investment team and ensures timely settlements of executed trades.
  • Ensures all relevant trades, cash injections, cash withdrawals, cash dividends, coupons, and other portfolio-related actions are updated on the system.
  • Manages all operational reporting and financial coordination, including preparing Ad-Hoc, custom reports, overseeing the Purchase Requests /Purchase Orders lifecycle with Procurement/Finance, and validating associated invoices.
  • Perform KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and due diligence on new and existing clients, counterparties, and investment partners.
  • Assess internal controls, risk management frameworks, compliance policies, and business continuity plans.
  • Manage and maintain operational relationships with key external parties, including Investment Managers (IMs) and Custodians.
  • Track and monitor investment activities, providing high-quality Monthly, Quarterly, and ad-hoc analytical reports to senior management.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual investment reports
  • Alternative Investments administration Monitor capital commitments, funding schedules, distributions, and valuations
  • Maintains all static data on the system and maintains the filing of those details where necessary to facilitate proper reporting to the internal audits.
  • Taking the lead in the organization-wide initiative in cooperation with other colleagues to introduce or discuss various subjects such as ESG, Leadership, Market Events, or Investment Operations (at least once annually)


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
  • From 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Professional certifications such as Investment Operation Certification (IOC) are preferred
