IOT Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop IoT-based applications and device integrations.
• Work with IoT hardware (sensors, microcontrollers, gateways, etc.) to build prototypes and scalable systems.
• Implement communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, or Modbus.
• Develop backend services and APIs to manage IoT data flow between devices and cloud.
• Integrate IoT systems with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and data analytics) to deliver complete IoT solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot device performance, connectivity, and data reliability issues.
• Ensure system security, scalability, and efficiency.
• Prepare documentation for system design, architecture, and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IoT development or embedded systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Familiarity with IoT communication protocols (MQTT, BLE, Zigbee, LoRa, etc.).
• Experience with cloud integration (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or similar).
• Knowledge of data management, APIs, and RESTful services.
• Understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and device authentication.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
