The Role

As an Android Developer at Misrai, you’ll own features end-to-end—from crafting seamless user experiences to integrating APIs and shipping releases. You’ll work with a modern Android stack (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, DI) and collaborate closely with design, backend, and web teams. You’ll also use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, testing, and reviews.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and ship production-grade Android apps using Kotlin + Jetpack Compose.
• Apply MVVM/Clean Architecture and Android Jetpack tools (Navigation, Room/DataStore, WorkManager).
• Integrate REST/JSON APIs and design resilient offline-first flows.
• Use Coroutines/Flows and DI frameworks (Hilt/Koin/Dagger) for scalable, maintainable code.
• Measure and optimize app performance, stability, and battery/network efficiency.
• Write unit and UI tests; participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Work with Git (PRs, trunk/feature branching) and CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools for generation, refactoring, testing, and intelligent search.
• Maintain clear documentation for components, APIs, and workflows.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong command of Kotlin + Jetpack Compose (Java familiarity a plus) and Android SDK fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and libraries such as Retrofit/Ktor, Room, and Coil/Glide.
• Proven experience with MVVM/Clean Architecture and Jetpack components.
• Proficient with Git and collaborative version-control workflows.
• Solid understanding of Material Design, UX patterns, and accessibility.
• Demonstrated habit of writing clean, maintainable, testable code.
• Academic degree optional—we value skill, impact, and craftsmanship.

Nice to Have

• Deep experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, and Hilt/Koin/Dagger.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development (e.g., code suggestions, test generation, smart refactors).
• Exposure to backend or web technologies: Node.js/NestJS, React/Vue/Next.js.
