J ob Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IoT Partners Ecosystem Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our IoT solutions and services. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at cultivating and managing partnerships, and possessing a deep understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape. As the IoT Partners Ecosystem Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and executing the partner strategy, nurturing relationships with key partners, and supporting the commercial function in delivering compelling and successful IoT propositions.


Partner Ecosystem Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partner ecosystem strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners for all solutions, from Oman and abroad, including technology providers, solution integrators, resellers, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Continuously assess and adjust the partner strategy based on market trends, competitive analysis, and emerging technologies.


Partnership Development (alone or supervising team members)

  • Assess potential vendors for quality, delivery, cost, and compliance factors (with support of the technology team).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners, fostering collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Lead end-to-end contract process with partners
  • Develop a partner development program in support of a strong and long-term relationship
  • Collaborate with partners to co-create innovative IoT solutions that address market needs and drive revenue growth.
  • Facilitate effective communication and alignment between cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and technical support.


Commercial Proposition Support:

  • Work closely with the commercial team to understand customer needs and market demands, and provide strategic input to develop compelling and differentiated IoT propositions.
  • Leverage partner capabilities to enhance the value proposition of IoT offerings, ensuring they meet customer requirements and deliver exceptional business outcomes.
  • Build smart and creative partnerships and alliances on request
  • Support the commercial function in crafting sales strategies, pricing models, and go-to-market plans that maximize partner contributions.
  • Prepare solutions discovery workshops for clients/market, mobilising and promoting partners


P erformance Tracking and Optimization:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the partner ecosystem, track partner engagement, revenue generation, and other relevant metrics.
  • Analyze partner performance data to identify opportunities for optimization, growth, and continuous improvement.


Industry Networking and Thought Leadership:

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to build the company's presence within the IoT ecosystem.
  • Stay informed about IoT market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to drive innovation and maintain thought leadership.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing IoT partnerships, ecosystem development, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of IoT technologies, trends, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results through collaboration and influence.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for partner meetings, industry events, and business engagements.
