IPD and OPD Manager

The IPD & OPD Manager will be responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of both Inpatient (IPD) and Outpatient (OPD) departments. The role involves ensuring high-quality patient service, operational efficiency, and coordination between medical, administrative, and support teams to enhance patient satisfaction and hospital performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor daily operations of the OPD and IPD departments.
  • Ensure smooth patient flow, minimal waiting time, and effective coordination with doctors and nursing staff.
  • Supervise front office and reception teams to maintain service standards.
  • Handle patient feedback, grievances, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records and MIS reports related to patient visits, admissions, and discharges.
  • Coordinate with billing, housekeeping, nursing, and diagnostic departments for seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor staff attendance, discipline, and performance within OPD & IPD teams.
  • Plan and implement process improvements to enhance patient experience.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and quality standards.
