IS EPIC- Beacon Oncology Analyst (RN)

This position is responsible for providing IT and clinical application support for optimization of the EHR and integrated/associated applications as related to oncology workflows and practices. This position is responsible for serving as a clinically trained professional liaison between Information Systems, Administration, and any other departments necessary that provide patient care. This position uses expertise to develop, implement, and evaluate projects for the facility to best facilitate its clinical usefulness. This position requires familiarity with the organization’s oncology practice and a strong understanding of integration points within oncology including scheduling, lab, radiology, billing and inpatient. This position will be responsible for oncology protocol build and maintenance. This position provides staff training and performance improvement of systems implemented/utilized. This position engages in significant interaction with clients, vendors, support personnel, administration, peers, and others.

Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing required.

Current Tennessee licensure as RN required.

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting required.
Experience in healthcare IT, EHR systems, or clinical informatics preferred.

EPIC Certification will be required in the time frame as determined by the Chief Information Officer.
