IS EPIC- Security User Access Analyst

This position serves as a trained professional liaison between Information Systems, Administration, and any other departments necessary. This position is responsible for providing technical application support for optimization of the EHR and integrated/associated applications as related to user access. This position is responsible for user records, templates and sub-templates, provider records, security classes, and provider/patient groups administration. This includes life cycle management of the records including creation, modification, and in-activation and auditing, as appropriate. This position participates in the development of workflows, system configuration, and change documentation while working with application teams to deploy functionality changes, new modules or departments, update security classes, modify provider records, conduct user analysis, and implement security enhancements. This position provides guidance on optimizing security build based on appropriate minimum necessary standards, and is responsible for on-going maintenance, testing, support and optimization of user security and provider management, in addition to Identity Governance and Role Based Access Controls. This position requires familiarity with current provisioning systems and processes. This position provides staff training and performance improvement of systems implemented/utilized to ensure integrity, availability and confidentiality of electronic information. This position engages in significant interaction with clients, vendors, support personnel, administration, peers, and others.

Associates Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or like field of study.

Additional Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred..
• Experience in healthcare IT, EHR systems, or clinical informatics preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of new trends in clinical practice and information systems and be able to apply data processing technology of clinical and physician service areas.

EPIC Certification will be required in the timeframe as determined by the Chief Information Officer
