Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable
Islamic Studies Teacher
to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Islamic Studies to
non-Arab students
. The teacher will promote Islamic values, culture, and teachings while ensuring that content is accessible and understandable to students who do not speak Arabic as their first language.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Islamic Studies in English (or other language appropriate for non-Arab learners).

Prepare lesson plans that align with the curriculum and age level of the students.

Teach core Islamic topics, including:

The Five Pillars of Islam
-
The life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Stories of the Prophets
-
Basic Fiqh and Islamic manners
-
Qur’anic values (using translations as needed)

Islamic history and culture
-
Foster a respectful, inclusive classroom environment.

Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Participate in school events, activities, and Islamic celebrations.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to enhance the curriculum.

Serve as a role model in upholding Islamic values within the school community.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.

Fluency in English (required); Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.

Minimum [2] years of teaching experience, preferably with non-Arabic speaking students.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with international or bilingual school environments is an advantage.
