IT Accountant I

Welcome to Love's! Our Financial Accounting department is seeking an IT Accountant I to deliver insightful analysis on company-wide IT initiatives and projects to IT leadership and senior company executives, supporting informed decision-making processes.This includes but is not limited to facilitating budgeting, cost analysis, trends/metrics reporting, and budget to actual variance reporting.

Job Functions:

• Basic understanding of SAP and other company software and platforms
• Basic understanding of how to analyze IT spending trends
• Create journal entries for monthly close, regular account review, and recurring entries
• Learn and understand all company entities and their purpose
• Create, update, and distribute monthly and quarterly reporting timely and accurately
• Assist with bi-annual budgeting processes for IT, including capex and G&A
• Interact with other departments and operations
• Other duties assigned as needed

Experience and Qualifications:

• • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience

Skills:

• Hard Skills:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills; ability to perform and make decisions under pressure and strict deadlines; excellent time management skills; detail oriented; ability to multitask and be a team player

Typical Physical Demands:

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
