IT Administrator

A reputed hotel chain in Oman who own and operate hotels through international brand in different parts in Oman, looking for an IT Administrator to manage its IT activities for the hotels.

· Oversee hotel computer systems, servers, and networks to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Provide IT assistance for guest-facing systems (Wi-Fi, in-room entertainment, booking platforms).
• Implement and monitor security measures to protect guest data and hotel operations.
• Manage hospitality property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS), HRIS, OPERA , IDS and finance software.
• Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, telephony, and surveillance systems.
• Train staff on IT systems, provide technical support, and ensure user, and support guest needs.
• Coordinate with external IT service providers, negotiate maintenance contracts, negotiate and finalize Capex and manage licenses.
• Ensure adherence to data protection laws and hospitality industry IT standards.

· Net working (LAN/WAN), server administration, cloud systems, PMS/POS integration.

• Experience in Acronis Backup is very essential.
• Troubleshooting, system optimization, data reporting.
• Implementing new technologies to enhance guest experience and streamline operations.

· Responsible for day-to-day IT operations, systems support, and technology strategy for the hotel.

· Network management, cybersecurity, guest IT support, staff training, hardware/software maintenance.

· Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving, communication, customer service orientation

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• English written/spoken fluently is a must, and demonstrate good communication skills
• Ability to think critically and solve problems
• Work autonomously and show a good capacity to plan your activities
• Achieving defined objectives in time
• Capability to work under pressure
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in IT management Hospitality ( Hotel) or a similar role.
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
• Experience with IT budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
